Frank Stäbler Wrestling (Greco-Roman style) | World Champion 2015, 2017, 2018 | Olympic bronze 2021
Olympic bronze medal at the end of wrestler Frank Stäbler's career
In London 2012 and Rio 2016 he was still denied an Olympic medal, but in Tokyo it finally happened: Wrestler Frank Stäbler wins Olympic bronze - and thus completes his successful career.
Drawn by exhausting preparations and a long competition, the 32-year-old prevailed in Tokyo in one of the two small finals of the weight category up to 67 kilograms with 5:4 against the Georgian Ramas Soidse.
Frank's preparation for the Olympics had not been ideal this time - as it had been the years before. Be it a shoulder corner joint blowout, the coronavirus or the energy-sapping weight loss program. But "the greater the pressure, the better the version of me I can present". And so, despite all the circumstances, the strength was enough for Olympic medals.
Frank looks back on countless major titles in his career: 3-time world champion in three different weight classes, 2-time European champion and now Olympic bronze.
"It is simply unbelievable what historic triumphs Frank has achieved in recent years. We are very pleased that we have been able to support Frank with our supports and orthoses for years, and we especially enjoy seeing the metacarpal thumb splint in action," says Torsten Schweizer, authorized signatory of SPORLASTIC GmbH.
We congratulate on a great career finish and have always been happy to cheer along.
Sebastian Dietz Shot put | Paralympics Gold 2012, 2016 | Paralympics bronze 2021
Bronze at the paralympics for Sebastian Dietz
With a sensational 14.81 m, the shot-putter secured the bronze medal at the Paralympics in Tokyo - a season's best and only three centimeters short of his own Paralympic record from 2016.
After the incredible successes in 2012 (gold) in London and 2016 (gold) in Rio, Sebastian Dietz thus also won precious metal in Tokyo 2021. It is the second major success in 2021. At the European Championships in Poland, he also won bronze. Sebastian Dietz also announced his intention to compete at the next Paralympics in Paris in 2024.
For Sebastian Dietz, winning the bronze medal was more than just winning a medal. The preparation period was very draining for the successful athlete, both mentally and physically, as he had been struggling with persistent thigh problems for some time.
He dedicated his victory to all the people who supported him during his preparation.
We are proud of Sebastian and are happy to be able to support him with the textile foot lifting orthosis FOOT-UP, among other things. It is a faithful companion in all his competitions.
Anne Sauer and Future Fencing Fencing | 3x German Champion in foil singles
Foil ace with heart
German foil fencer Anne Sauer is a three-time German champion in foil singles and a six-time German champion with the foil team.
In August 2018, the foil specialist moved to the Future Fencing fencing club in Werbach. Here, in addition to intensive training sessions on the planche, the development of a junior development concept is on the agenda. A project that is very close to Anne's heart. This is to preserve the sport of fencing for future generations and to promote young fencers from the region.
Since 2016, we are always at Anne's side and accompany her through sporting highs but also through unpredictable lows.
We wish Anne continued success and are already looking forward to another foil fencing lesson.
Hartmut Freund Men's Table Tennis | 5x German Champion
He's never been better
Table tennis athlete Hartmut Freund has been successful in his starting class for decades. In all his competitions, Hartmut wears our Genu-Hit Supreme knee brace, which has long since become his trademark.
In 2016, Hartmut Freund won bronze in men's doubles at the European Championships in Russia. This was followed by further successes in Italy, Sweden, Russia and Thailand. Now he has won silver twice at the 2019 Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi.
Currently, the 51-year-old is ranked 22nd in the world, one place higher than the year before, making him the best German in the mentally disabled category. "He has never been better" says Norbert Freund, his brother, coach and manager.
We are happy that we can support Hartmut with our bandages again this year, so he can focus on getting his top performance. Good luck!
Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e.V. Cycling
Competence partnership with the BDR
Since 2016, we have been supporting the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e.V. (BDR). The initiative for the competence partnership came via the BDR's association physician, Dr. Matthias Baumann: "We need the best bandages for our national teams. Our athletes deserve optimal support in all disciplines, so that we can react directly on site".
Together with Dr. Baumann, we have put together product kits according to the individual requirements of the cycling disciplines and the respective support function. Dr. Baumann has been using our bandages and orthoses for many years. "They provide significant support for our athlete:s with orthopedic problems, which is an essential factor for world-class performance in today's stressful competitive sports," says Dr. Baumann.
Torsten Schweizer, authorized signatory of SPORLASTIC GmbH, is pleased about the cooperation with the successful cycling federation: "With this partnership we strengthen the brand awareness of SPORLASTIC and support our partners in the medical supply trade in marketing our products. Bandages and orthoses from SPORLASTIC are leaders in their segment and the brand stands for the highest quality. With the BDR, we have a very versatile and committed partner who fully backs SPORLASTIC."
At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, together with Dr. Matthias Baumann, we distributed product kits with supports and orthotics to the athletes of the BDR and were thus able to create a good starting position for the athletes. We will also be supporting the BDR cyclists at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo and look forward to supporting them with our products.

TG Nürtingen Women’s Handball, 2nd Bundesliga
Firmly established in the 2nd Handball Bundesliga
The 1st women's handball team of TG Nürtingen will again play in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2020/21 season.
Since their premiere season in 2015/16, there have always been more highs than lows in a season for the women's handball team. And so it is only logical that they are in a non-relegation spot at the end of a season.
"We have now earned a firm place in the 2nd Bundesliga and thus represent Nürtingen throughout the country. We are very grateful to our long-standing partner Sporlastic for making this sporting development possible," says Gunnar Fischer, department spokesman for TG Nürtingen.
We wish the handball players all the best and a successful season.

Medizinische Nothilfe Albanien e.V. Training sponsorship
Support for Albanian orthopedic technology apprentices
The Medical Emergency Aid Albania e.V. (MNA) trains and educates orthopedic technicians, physiotherapists, social workers and therapeutic pedagogues in Albania.
The aim is to constantly increase the quality of the care and therapies offered and to improve the quality of life of affected people. At the same time, this also supports the development of the healthcare system in Albania. Through the MNA, patients can receive, among other things, individually made prostheses, orthoses and other orthopedic aids, as well as necessary operations.
For more than 25 years, the MNA aid organization has been working to give people with disabilities the same opportunities and rights as everyone else in Albanian society and to break the cycle of poverty and disability.
In 2021, we again supported the training of apprentices with a donation. This has been a major concern for us for many years.
We are pleased that we can accompany the apprentices on their training path and that we can give hope and quality of life back to the affected patients with our commitment.
You can find more information about the project at www.mna-ev.org.
