Frank Stäbler Wrestling (Greco-Roman style), World Champion 2015, 2017 and 2018
Las Vegas 2015. Paris 2017. Budapest 2018. Frank Stäbler is world champion in wrestling for the third time in a row and thus the first wrestler ever to become world champion in three weight classes.
After gold in 2015 (weight class up to 66 kg) and gold in 2017 (weight class up to 71 kg), the Greco-Roman specialist won 2-1 against local hero Balint Korpasi in a tactical final in the weight class up to 72 kg.
As was the case before Stäbler's title win in 2017, the preparation for the world championships was fraught with opposition: Be it the dispute over the training hall in his hometown Musberg and the forced move to the parents' cowshed lined with training mats. The rib injury, initially misdiagnosed as a heart attack. Various foot and wrist blisters during the World Cup or an extremely difficult draw, which brought him the toughest opponents.
But it is precisely these oppositions that make Stäbler unbeatable. So he announced even before the competitions: "The greater the pressure, the better the version of me I can present". His words were followed by incredible actions.
"I am overjoyed to win my third world title. Once again, an important piece of the mosaic for my success was the outstanding support from my partner SPORLASTIC. As with my previous titles, SPORLASTIC provided me with optimal care and the metacarpal thumb splint gave me the perfect security. I would like to thank the entire SPORLASTIC team for the great support," says Stäbler.
Now one last goal remains: Olympic gold in Tokyo 2021. "Everything must be geared towards this," says Stäbler. The Musberger competes in a new weight class, because the category up to 72 kg, in which he is now world champion, is no longer part of the Olympic program. For the wrestler, this currently means fundamentally changing his metabolism and diet as well as adapting his technique to the changed conditions - a challenge that drives the self-proclaimed mental monster to new peak performances.
"It is still not quite tangible what historic triumphs Frank has achieved in recent years. We are very pleased that we have been able to support Frank with our supports and orthoses for years, and we particularly enjoy seeing the metacarpal thumb splint in action," says Torsten Schweizer, authorized signatory of SPORLASTIC GmbH.
We are always rooting for Frank in all competitions and are keeping our fingers crossed for his last dream - Olympic gold.
Sebastian Dietz Shot put, Paralympics Gold 2012 & 2016
Since 2016, we have been accompanying and supporting the likeable shot-putter Sebastian Dietz.
In a car accident in 2004, Sebastian suffered a severe cervical injury that turned his life upside down. The initial diagnosis was that he would remain paralyzed from the neck down and would never be able to walk again. However, intensive rehabilitation measures enabled him to walk again after eleven weeks - a minor miracle. His achievements cannot be valued highly enough with this history.
In 2016 at the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Sebastian became Olympic champion in the shot put. At that time, he heaved the ball to a proud 14.84 m and thus made his Olympic victory perfect! But Sebastian is not only successful in the shot put. In 2012, he won gold in the discus throw at the Paralympics in London, as well as at the World Championships in 2013. Now, the next big goal is the Paralympic Games 2021 in Tokyo.
We are proud to be able to provide Sebastian with a valuable helper - he wears our FOOT-UP® foot lifting brace - and keep our fingers crossed for Tokyo 2021.
Anne Sauer and Future Fencing Fencing
German foil fencer Anne Sauer is a two-time German champion in foil singles and a six-time German champion with the foil team.
In August 2018, the foil specialist moved to the Future Fencing fencing club in Werbach. Here, in addition to intensive training sessions on the planche, the development of a junior development concept is on the agenda. A project that is very close to Anne's heart. This is to preserve the sport of fencing for future generations and to promote young fencers from the region.
Since 2016, we are always at Anne's side and accompany her through sporting highs but also through unpredictable lows.
We wish Anne continued success and are already looking forward to another foil fencing lesson.
Hartmut Freund Men's Table Tennis, 5x German Champion
Table tennis athlete Hartmut Freund has been successful in his starting class for decades. In all his competitions, Hartmut wears our Genu-Hit Supreme knee brace, which has long since become his trademark.
In 2016, Hartmut Freund won bronze in men's doubles at the European Championships in Russia. This was followed by further successes in Italy, Sweden, Russia and Thailand. Now he has won silver twice at the 2019 Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi.
Currently, the 51-year-old is ranked 22nd in the world, one place higher than the year before, making him the best German in the mentally disabled category. "He has never been better" says Norbert Freund, his brother, coach and manager.
We are happy that we can support Hartmut with our bandages again this year, so he can focus on getting his top performance. Good luck!
Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e.V. Cycling
Since 2016, we have been supporting the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e.V. (BDR). The initiative for the competence partnership came via the BDR's association physician, Dr. Matthias Baumann: "We need the best bandages for our national teams. Our athletes deserve optimal support in all disciplines, so that we can react directly on site".
Together with Dr. Baumann, we have put together product kits according to the individual requirements of the cycling disciplines and the respective support function. Dr. Baumann has been using our bandages and orthoses for many years. "They provide significant support for our athlete:s with orthopedic problems, which is an essential factor for world-class performance in today's stressful competitive sports," says Dr. Baumann.
Torsten Schweizer, authorized signatory of SPORLASTIC GmbH, is pleased about the cooperation with the successful cycling federation: "With this partnership we strengthen the brand awareness of SPORLASTIC and support our partners in the medical supply trade in marketing our products. Bandages and orthoses from SPORLASTIC are leaders in their segment and the brand stands for the highest quality. With the BDR, we have a very versatile and committed partner who fully backs SPORLASTIC."
At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, together with Dr. Matthias Baumann, we distributed product kits with supports and orthotics to the athletes of the BDR and were thus able to create a good starting position for the athletes. We will also be supporting the BDR cyclists at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo and look forward to supporting them with our products.

TG Nürtingen Women’s Handball, 2nd Bundesliga
The 1st women's handball team of TG Nürtingen will again play in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2020/21 season.
Since their premiere season in 2015/16, there have always been more highs than lows in a season for the women's handball team. And so it is only logical that they are in a non-relegation spot at the end of a season.
"We have now earned a firm place in the 2nd Bundesliga and thus represent Nürtingen throughout the country. We are very grateful to our long-standing partner Sporlastic for making this sporting development possible," says Gunnar Fischer, department spokesman for TG Nürtingen.
We wish the handball players all the best and a successful season.

We keep our fingers firmly crossed and look forward to a successful cooperation.
Medizinische Nothilfe Albanien e.V. Training sponsorship
The Medical Emergency Aid Albania e.V. (MNA) trains and educates orthopedic technicians, physiotherapists, social workers and therapeutic pedagogues in Albania.
The aim is to constantly increase the quality of the care and therapies offered and to improve the quality of life of affected people. At the same time, this also supports the development of the healthcare system in Albania. Through the MNA, patients can receive, among other things, individually made prostheses, orthoses and other orthopedic aids, as well as necessary operations.
For more than 25 years, the MNA aid organization has been working to give people with disabilities the same opportunities and rights as everyone else in Albanian society and to break the cycle of poverty and disability.
In 2021, we again supported the training of apprentices with a donation. This has been a major concern for us for many years.
We are pleased that we can accompany the apprentices on their training path and that we can give hope and quality of life back to the affected patients with our commitment.
You can find more information about the project at www.mna-ev.org.
