Sebastian Dietz Shot put | Paralympics Gold 2012, 2016 | Paralympics bronze 2021
Bronze at the paralympics for Sebastian Dietz
With a sensational 14.81 m, the shot-putter secured the bronze medal at the Paralympics in Tokyo - a season's best and only three centimeters short of his own Paralympic record from 2016.
After the incredible successes in 2012 (gold) in London and 2016 (gold) in Rio, Sebastian Dietz thus also won precious metal in Tokyo 2021. It is the second major success in 2021. At the European Championships in Poland, he also won bronze. Sebastian Dietz also announced his intention to compete at the next Paralympics in Paris in 2024.
For Sebastian Dietz, winning the bronze medal was more than just winning a medal. The preparation period was very draining for the successful athlete, both mentally and physically, as he had been struggling with persistent thigh problems for some time.
He dedicated his victory to all the people who supported him during his preparation.
We are proud of Sebastian and are happy to be able to support him with the textile foot lifting orthosis FOOT-UP, among other things. It is a faithful companion in all his competitions.
Anne Sauer and Future Fencing Fencing | 3x German Champion in foil singles
Foil ace with heart
German foil fencer Anne Sauer is a three-time German champion in foil singles and a six-time German champion with the foil team.
In August 2018, the foil specialist moved to the Future Fencing fencing club in Werbach. Here, in addition to intensive training sessions on the planche, the development of a junior development concept is on the agenda. A project that is very close to Anne's heart. This is to preserve the sport of fencing for future generations and to promote young fencers from the region.
Since 2016, we are always at Anne's side and accompany her through sporting highs but also through unpredictable lows.
We wish Anne continued success and are already looking forward to another foil fencing lesson.
Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e.V. Cycling
Competence partnership with the BDR
Since 2016, we have been supporting the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e.V. (BDR). The initiative for the competence partnership came via the BDR's association physician, Dr. Matthias Baumann: "We need the best bandages for our national teams. Our athletes deserve optimal support in all disciplines, so that we can react directly on site".
Together with Dr. Baumann, we have put together product kits according to the individual requirements of the cycling disciplines and the respective support function. Dr. Baumann has been using our bandages and orthoses for many years. "They provide significant support for our athlete:s with orthopedic problems, which is an essential factor for world-class performance in today's stressful competitive sports," says Dr. Baumann.
Torsten Schweizer, authorized signatory of SPORLASTIC GmbH, is pleased about the cooperation with the successful cycling federation: "With this partnership we strengthen the brand awareness of SPORLASTIC and support our partners in the medical supply trade in marketing our products. Bandages and orthoses from SPORLASTIC are leaders in their segment and the brand stands for the highest quality. With the BDR, we have a very versatile and committed partner who fully backs SPORLASTIC."
At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, together with Dr. Matthias Baumann, we distributed product kits with supports and orthotics to the athletes of the BDR and were thus able to create a good starting position for the athletes. We will also be supporting the BDR cyclists at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo and look forward to supporting them with our products.
