Frank Stäbler Wrestling (Greco-Roman style), World Champion 2015, 2017 and 2018
Mental monster Stäbler fetches historic wrestler gold
Las Vegas 2015, Paris 2017, Budapest 2018: Frank Stäbler is world wrestler for the third time in a row and thus the first wrestler ever to become world champion in three weight classes.
After Gold 2015 (weight category up to 66 kg) and Gold 2017 (weight category up to 71 kg), the Greek-Roman specialist won a tactical final in the weight category up to 72 kg against local hero Balint Korpasi with 2:1.
As before Stäbler's title win in 2017, the preparation for the World Championships was full of resistance: Be it the dispute over the training hall in his home town of Musberg or the forced move to his parents' cowshed with training mats. The rib injury, initially misdiagnosed as a heart attack. Various foot and wrist injuries during the World Cup or an extremely heavy draw that broke his toughest opponents.
But it is precisely these resistances that make Stäbler unbeatable. Even before the competitions, he announced: "The greater the pressure, the better the version of me I can present". His words were followed by incredible deeds.
In the quarter-finals, the 29-year-old was already close to the end. Against the Kazakh Demeu Schadrajew he turned a 0:6 into an incredible 10:6. Mental was a masterpiece. In the semi-finals he won against Rasul Chunayev from Azerbaijan in the final minute, because Stäbler remained focused until the last minute.
"I am overjoyed about the third world championship title. Everything still feels very unreal, even with a few days to go. Once again, the outstanding support from my partner SPORLASTIC was an important piece in my success mosaic. As with my previous titles, SPORLASTIC provided me with optimal support and the middle hand thumb splint gave me perfect security. I would like to thank the entire SPORLASTIC team for the great support," says Stäbler.
Now I have one final goal: Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo. "Everything must be geared to this," says Stäbler. The weight class in which the Musberger will compete will be exciting. The category up to 72 kg, in which he now became world champion, does not belong to the Olympic program. For the wrestler this means a fundamental change in his metabolism and nutrition as well as the adaptation of his technique to the changed conditions - a challenge that drives the self-proclaimed mental monster to new heights.
"It is still not quite tangible what a historic triumph Frank has achieved last year. We are very pleased that we have been able to support Frank for years with our bandages and orthoses and we especially like to see the middle hand thumb splint in action," says Torsten Schweizer, SPORLASTIC's authorised signatory. "We are always on the edge of our seats at all competitions and will of course be accompanying him on his way to the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
Sebastian Dietz Shot put, Paralympics Gold 2012 & 2016
World Champion with a European record
Unbeaten for three years now, Sebastian Dietz won the world championship title at the 2017 Para-Light Athletics World Championships in London in his showpiece discipline, Class F36 shot-putting, with 15.28 m and thus defended his title.
And that's not all: he is also setting a new World Cup and European record! The world record of 15.34 m is within reach. I wanted the world record. But I am overjoyed to have won gold, said the 32-year-old.Sebastian won the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and was the Olympic champion in shot put. At that time, he carried the ball to a height of 14.84 m, making his Olympic victory perfect! Five of his shots landed further than the runner-up's best shot.
For Sebastian, who suffered a serious cervical vertebrae injury in a car accident in 2004, the new World Championship title is a huge success. But Sebastian is not only successful in shot-putting. In 2012 he will win gold in discus at the Paralympics in London as well as at the 2013 World Championships. Now the next big goal are the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
We are proud to be able to support Sebastian with our FOOT-UP® and are happy about his successes! Since the beginning of 2016, we have been accompanying and supporting him on his way.
Anne Sauer and Future FencingFencing
In the Top 10 for years
The German fencer in the women's floret Anne Sauer has been in the top 10 of every tournament for years and it would be hard to imagine the national team without her. At the World Cup 2018 in Katowice (Poland), the 24-year-old won the bronze medal in the women's floret. With a lot of ambition and discipline she secured the 3rd place and at the same time the first podium place at an individual World Cup in her career.
But she is not only one of the best athletes in individual competitions. Anne Sauer's fencing team made it to the quarter finals at the 2016 World Championships in Rio de Janeiro. Now the next big goal is Olympia 2020 in Tokyo.
The fencing specialist has been training at the Future Fencing fencing club in Werbach since 2018. In addition to intensive training sessions on the Planche, the development of a concept for the promotion of young talent is on the agenda. This should preserve fencing for future generations and promote young fencers from the region.
We wish you much success and are eager to see what the season has in store!

Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e.V. Cycling
Competence partnership with the BDR
Since 2016 we support the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer e.V. (BDR). The initiative for the competence partnership came from the BDR's association doctor Matthias Baumann: "We need the best bandages for our national teams. Our athletes deserve optimal support in all disciplines so that we can react directly on site.
Sporlastic and the Association of German Cyclists will work together for the next few years. Sporlastic compiles appropriate product kits according to the individual needs of the cycling disciplines and the respective support function. Baumann has been using Sporlastic products for many years. "They brilliantly support our athletes with orthopaedic problems, which is an essential factor for world-class performance in today's competitive sports," says Baumann.
SPORLASTIC’s Head of Marketing, Torsten Schweizer, is delighted about the cooperation with the successful cycling association: "With this partnership we are strengthening SPORLASTIC's brand awareness and at the same time supporting our partners in the health care supply retail sector in marketing our products. SPORLASTIC products are leaders in their segment and the brand stands for the highest quality. With the BDR we have gained a very versatile and committed partner who fully relies on SPORLASTIC".
Already at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, together with Dr. Matthias Baumann, SPORLASTIC put together product bags with bandages and orthoses according to the individual requirements of the cycling disciplines and were thus able to create a good starting position for the athletes. We are also accompanying the cyclists of the BDR on their way to the Olympics 2020 in Tokyo and are pleased to be able to support them with our products.
The athletes of the BDR are constantly on the road with great success - we are of course all the more pleased about this! We are looking forward to every race and wish the athletes all the best for the future!

Gauthier Dance dance troupe at the Stuttgart Theaterhaus
Partnership with the Stuttgart Theaterhaus dance troupe
Original ideas, contemporary elements, openness and a touch of humour, translated into exuberant choreographies of dance of the highest standard. These are the hallmarks of Gauthier Dance. At their shows or at events such as the “Colours - International Dance Festival” in Stuttgart, the dancers mingle with the audience and encourage them to join in.
Under the direction of dancer and choreographer Eric Gauthier, the troupe now numbers 16 dancers from all over the world and is hugely successful, not just in the Theaterhaus. After it was founded in October 2007, the company became established both nationally and internationally and has enjoyed sell-out, inspirational shows worldwide.
Alongside all this success, social commitment is also a matter that is close to Eric Gauthier's heart. With Gauthier Dance Mobil, he and some of his troupe visit make unpaid visits to schools, hospitals and care homes. They bring dance to people who are unable to come to the theatre on their own.
Inspiring people and getting them to move through dance - this is what impressed us. Since the summer of 2016, we and Luisa Cerano have been sponsoring the Gauthier Dance dance troupe at the Stuttgart Theaterhaus.
