Billing of aids

Based on the “Healthcare Modernisation Act” (GMG) of 01.01.20014. Billing instructions apply only to Germany.
The GMG has redefined the contribution for aids.
Accordingly, from 01.01.2004, the following applies:

1. Insured persons aged 18 years or above must, for each aid prescribed at the expense of the statutory health insurance fund, provide a contribution as per Section 61 Paragraph 1 as follows:
   Contributions that must be made by the insured party amount to 10 out of every 100 of the selling price, however they must be no less than Euro 5 and no more than Euro 10; however they must not amount to more than the cost of the aid. 
2. You can obtain all the details of the GMG from your specialist associations. 
3. Aids are not budgeted. Based on the GMG with effect from 01.01.2014, the following applies to the prescribing of SPORLASTIC aids:
   All of the SPORLASTIC products listed in the prescribing manual bearing the designation
   _INSURANCE FUND STANDARD Item No. 05... / 08... / 20... / 23... / 31...
   _ INSURANCE FUND STANDARD Registered under item No.
   can be prescribed at the expense of the health insurance fund and will not impact on your budget.
