SPORLASTIC SUPPORTS GOTS POSTERPREIS
From 27 to 29 June 2019, the 34th GOTS Congress (Society for Orthopaedic Traumatological Sports Medicine) took place in Salzburg. More than 600 participants from the fields of orthopaedics, trauma surgery, sports medicine, physiotherapy, sports science and industry took part in the congress.
The aim of the event, which lasted several days, was to discuss the latest developments in orthopaedics and sports medicine and to exchange information on conservative and operative therapy methods as well as strategies for prevention across countries and disciplines. There were 281 lectures and 14 workshops, which were attended by participants from more than 10 countries.
SPORLASTIC is committed to promoting science, which is why the SPORLASTIC Poster Award was announced again this year. Out of 51 poster contributions, the three best posters were awarded by five members of the scientific commission.
Congratulations to this year's SPORLASTIC Poster Award winners:
- Dr. Thilo Hotfiel with the contribution to "Clinical Practice meets Science: How does PRICE therapy influence intramuscular tissue perfusion?".
