SPORLASTIC SUPPORTS AGA POSTERPREIS
The 36th AGA Congress (Society for Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery) took place in Mannheim from 12 to 14 September 2019. Around 1,100 visitors from 27 nations took part in the event. Under the motto "360 degrees", a total of 356 participants created a varied and exciting scientific program. The parallel industrial exhibition met with lively interest among the participants, and the SPORLASTIC stand was very well attended.
As in previous years, the SPORLASTIC Poster Award was announced in 2019 to promote young scientists. The two best posters in each of the categories "Clinical Research" and "Biomechanics / Basic Research" were awarded.
We congratulate all winners:
- Dr. med. Werner Krutsch (Regensburg) with the title "Overall concept for injury prevention of severe knee injuries in competitive football" (1st Poster Prize for "Clinical Research")
- Dr. Alexander Otto (Munich) with the title "Influence of the humeral inclination angle after inverse shoulder prosthesis: Medium-term outcome of a multicenter study" (2nd Poster Award for "Clinical Research")
- Dr. med. Lukas Willinger (Munich) with the title "Varus alignment and amount of meniscus resection significantly affect medial compartment contact pressure" (1st Poster Award for "Biomechanics / Basic Research")
- Dr. med. Dimitris Ntalos (Hamburg) with the title "Influence of corticalis thickness on the tear-out strength of all-suture anchors" (2nd Poster Award for "Biomechanics / Basic Research")
