SPORLASTIC remains the official partner of the shot put Olympic Champion Sebastian Dietz
Tokyo in his sights: SPORLASTIC will be accompanying shot put Olympic Champion Sebastian Dietz for a further 4 years.
“Even before Sebastian’s gold medal in Rio, we knew that we wanted to continue our partnership,” says SPORLASTIC's Head of Marketing Torsten Schweizer. The collaboration will continue until at least the end of 2020. At the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Sebastian Dietz not only secured victory, but he also set a new paralympic record and dominated the competition with impressive style - no fewer than five of his shots were further than the best shot of the silver medallist.
For the 31-year-old, who suffered a severe cervical spine injury in a road traffic accident in 2004, this is his fourth international title. His next big goal will be the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo: “On the road to Tokyo, SPORLASTIC is now a very important companion for me,” says Sebastian Dietz, who is keen to follow on from his previous successes. The 2015 World Champion will continue to be supported by SPORLASTIC throughout: in all of his competitions, the shot putter wears the SPORLASTIC FOOT-UP.
Sebastian Dietz will continue to be available for various communications activities as well as various events and social media campaigns involving SPORLASTIC. “We are thrilled by Sebastian’s successes so far, and we have our fingers crossed for his forthcoming competitions,” says Torsten Schweizer.
