MENSCHEN BEWEGEN 2018 NATIONWIDE CAMPAIGN
Throughout Germany, SPORLASTIC and the medical supply stores with the smiling face have been inviting people since March to popular hands-on activities and exciting active competitions, numerous health analyses and the chance to win prizes worth a total of over 25,000 euros. Almost 100,000 people accepted this invitation.
Since March, more than 92,000 people have visited the MENSCHEN BEWEGEN events organised by SPORLASTIC and the medical supply stores of Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG, a large association of owner-managed medical supply stores, health centres and homecare companies throughout Germany. "This year, the series of events presented itself in more cities, on more event days, with more active modules and more hands-on activities than ever before," says Torsten Schweizer, Head of Marketing and authorized signatory at SPORLASTIC GmbH. MENSCHEN BEWEGEN-Tourmobil headed for Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Magdeburg, Leipzig and many other cities throughout Germany. Within the framework of health fairs, city festivals, sports events or company anniversaries, visitors could expect numerous activities and chances to win prizes.
"MENSCHEN BEWEGEN shows in a wonderful way, how simply each of us can convert a healthy and active life , explains the health expert and MENSCHEN BEWEGEN patron professor Dr. Ingo Froböse. "Movement is a very easy method to do something really good for your own health." It doesn't matter whether it's pedaling on the ergometer, exercising balance on the balance board or powerfully on the various movement trainers - at the MENSCHEN BEWEGEN active competitions young and old, women and men, sportsmen and untrained people could measure themselves against each other in a moving way and thus get an overview of their own actual physical condition. On the slackline, the vibration plate as well as in the other participatory actions, prevention and fun were in the foreground.
The numerous health analyses provided visitors with a quick overview of blood pressure, vein function, foot pressure and stroke risk, among other things. In addition, there were lots of prizes to be won at the competitions: ten days' holiday in a 4-star hotel in Stralsund, one week's holiday in a luxurious motorhome, an own profile treadmill and many other prizes with a total value of over 25,000 euros.
All in all, the campaign MENSCHEN BEWEGEN has inspired well over 900,000(!) people since its launch in 2011. It will continue in spring 2019, when the question arises: When will the one millionth visitor come across MENSCHEN BEWEGEN!
