BRONZE AT THE PARALYMPICS FOR SEBASTIAN DIETZ
With a sensational 14.81 m, the shot-putter secured the bronze medal at the Paralympics in Tokyo - a season's best and only three centimeters short of his own Paralympic record from 2016.
After the incredible successes in 2012 (gold) in London and 2016 (gold) in Rio, Sebastian Dietz thus also won precious metal in Tokyo 2021. It is the second major success in 2021. At the European Championships in Poland, he also won bronze. Sebastian Dietz also announced his intention to compete at the next Paralympics in Paris in 2024.
For Sebastian Dietz, winning the bronze medal was more than just winning a medal. The preparation period was very draining for the successful athlete, both mentally and physically, as he had been struggling with persistent thigh problems for some time.
He dedicated his victory to all the people who supported him during his preparation.
We are proud of Sebastian and are happy to be able to support him with the textile foot lifting orthosis FOOT-UP, among other things. It is a faithful companion in all his competitions.
